RISE Pipe Transit System:

An integral part of any transit system is the frames which services pass through and house the sealing system.

Testing Standards

In the arduous environments of oil and gas or naval industries the frames we supply become an integral part of the ships structure. Therefore they have to meet extremely stringent standards in terms of material and fabrication as set down by our clients or by recognised Naval Engineering Standards.

All of our frames are manufactured to strict tolerances, welded using the latest technology and tested to ensure weld integrity. These processes ensure we meet the structural requirements of our clients and have been extensively tested with load testing, pressure testing and extreme levels of shock testing. This not only confirms their suitability for a ships structure, but also for use with all of our sealing systems.

Features

Although our sealing systems are flexible enough to be used in conjunction with any size and shape of frame, we recognize the benefits of standardization. Based on shipbuilding experience, we have found that certain designs assist with product installation. For example, frames that are designed with widths and heights that suit the type of cable tray or ladder depths means it is easier to run cables. Partitions help reduce the cable load making it easier to sleeve cabling, as well as allowing the installer to completely pack one area and also making it easier to segregate cables as they pass through the structure.

Benefits

  1. Frames made to measure to your exact design requirements.
  2. Frames made in any material, from mild and stainless steel to aluminum and composite materials.
  3. Made with rounded corners as standard, to remove any risk of stress fractures in bulkheads or decks at the corners of the frames.
  4. Various combinations are available with partitions to suit the required segregation of cables and to provide additional structural strength.
